Metre system for Ponies 2011
Please read the following carefully
Heights of fences at a Show must be as advertised in their schedule in the Bulletin
Heights for 128cm, 138cm and 148cm should run in sequence
Ponies may jump in three height bands but only two adjacent height classes, within the three height bands, on any one day.
A pony may only participate 'Hors Concours' at any height within its height category. A pony may participate twice Hors Concours on the same day in appropriate competitions subject to the approval of the Organising Committee.
Change of ownership on the SJI system of a pony may allow a downgrading of height bands but it is not a downgrading of points.
Points are allocated to ponies as below:
* Above points only awarded provided the first round is jumped clear.
The heights quoted do not apply to the first fence. The spreads in all cases should be 10cm on the quoted heights. The speed for 138 110cm and 120cm and 148 120cm and 130cm will be set at 350m/m while all other classes will be run at 325m/m.
